How do I retrieve/update my username or password?
Visit the login page and select “I would like to reset my password” or “I would like to update my Username.”
How do I update my contact information?
Visit hospitalmedicine.org/myaccount. Log into your SHM account and begin updating your profile.
If you need to change your name, please call us at 800.843.3360.

Are membership dues refundable?
SHM membership dues are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
Does SHM offer a retiree rate for membership?
SHM offers an Emeritus Status to qualifying members.. Emeritus members receive 50% off the current dues rate. To qualify, Emeritus members must be:
- 65 years or older
- Fully retired or semi-retired defined as working fewer than 20 hours per week
- SHM member for a minimum of 10 years

How do I claim CME/MOC after attending a meeting?
CME/MOC credits can be claimed by logging into the SHM Learning Portal. Once you have logged in with your SHM username and password, select My Transcript and then select Pending Courses. If you still need further assistance, please contact our Education Department at education@hospitalmedicine.org.
